Earlier this month, our research team set out on a challenging journey through the Udzungwa and Rungwe Mountains as part of our ongoing study on two endangered shrew species—Congosorex phillipsorum and Myosorex kihaulei. This blog shares a glimpse of the real work behind conservation: walking long distances through thick forest, setting traps, recording data, and monitoring habitat conditions.
